Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight across various routes, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Your expertise in handling different types of trailers—including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, roll-off, and tractor-trailers—will be essential to maintaining our high standards of service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to the efficient movement of goods across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety
• Transport a variety of freight types, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and specialized equipment like dump trucks and roll-off trucks
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license; familiarity with manual transmissions is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures for load & unload operations
• Ability to drive safely over long distances and through diverse road conditions
• focus on efficiency and safety
• Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers and customers effectively

-company drivers can choose from 60 cents per mile or 30% of the linehaul (not including fuel surcharge)

-Team drivers start at 80 cents per mile
