Commercial Driver's License Delivery Driver

Overview
Home Tile Center is the go-to source for wall and floor tiles, stone slabs and building materials in Northern Queens. We are looking for a hard-working, detail oriented delivery driver with at least a CDL-B to make deliveries using the company box truck (and sometimes the company van possibly).

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company box truck for local deliveries
• Load and unload tile and related materials (must be able to lift heavy products)
• Verify delivery orders for accuracy. Double-check paperwork for errors.
• Take photos of delivered items and their location as proof of delivery
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at delivery sites
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Requirements:

• At least, a valid CDL-B license (required)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Know how to operate a pallet-jack
• Forklift experience is a plus
