Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of trucks—including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers—to deliver materials efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy lifting, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate a range of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or vehicle-mounted equipment, ensuring secure and proper placement.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify mechanical condition and safety compliance before each journey.
• Drive in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe delivery routes.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge of truck systems and load securement methods.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records for compliance purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.

Experience

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating various truck types.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with delivery or logistics companies.
• Familiarity with operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and manual transmission operation.
• Experience in load & unload procedures, including heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation and cargo securement.
• Prior experience working with different types of trucks used in waste management or material transportation is a plus.
