Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbed trucks, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles across assigned routes
• Load and unload freight using manual handling skills, forklifts (if certified), or other equipment as needed
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with DOT standards
• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
• Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents

Experience

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (e.g., tanker, flatbed)
• Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery and route driving
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates
• Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures and safety standards for freight handling
• Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment if certified (nice-to-have)
• Prior experience with delivery driver roles involving freight transport across diverse environments

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
