Job Overview
Active Enterprises Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety minded part-time Propane Delivery Driver to join our team in Long Beach, Washington. This position is responsible for delivering propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers throughout the Long Beach Peninsula and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who values customer service, takes pride in safe driving, and represents our company with professionalism.

Responsibilities include operating a propane delivery truck, loading and unloading propane in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, performing pre ­trip and post ­trip inspections, maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork, and providing courteous service at each stop. The driver will also assist with basic service tasks such as leak checks and tank handling while following all company and DOT safety standards.

Required qualifications include a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B), Hazardous Materials endorsement, Tanker endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT physicals, drug screenings, and background checks. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work in coastal weather conditions, and communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Preferred qualifications include prior propane or fuel delivery experience, familiarity with propane systems and safety procedures, and mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting.

This role involves outdoor work, physical activity, and regular interaction with customers across the Long Beach community.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license.
• Mechanical knowledge of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
• Experience in load & unload procedures across various truck types.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and handling cargo safely.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation related to loading or unloading materials. Pay: $29.08 - $35.02 per hour
