Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and heavy equipment to deliver materials and products efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle operation, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate a range of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. The truck available is a brand new Peterbuilt truck with automatic transmission.
• Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge and appropriate equipment, ensuring secure and balanced cargo placement
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to verify safety and operational readiness before each shift
• Drive to multiple delivery locations, adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary to facilitate efficient loading or unloading processes
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and route documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks and specialized equipment
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial truck operator with a strong driving record. Minimum of 8 years of hauling heavy construction equipment; large excavators and flat bed trailers for material.
• Must be able to travel when hauling equipment up and down the east coast and parts of the mid west.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles
• Experience driving front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading activities
• Knowledge of load securing techniques to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Excellent navigation skills and the ability to follow detailed routes and schedules

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
