Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in driving different vehicle configurations, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across designated routes to deliver freight promptly.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring secure handling of goods.
• Manage a variety of trailer types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off trucks based on delivery requirements.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, route logs, and inspection reports for compliance and operational efficiency.
• Follow assigned routes diligently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery schedules to maximize productivity.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues that arise during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (e.g., tanker, refrigerated).
• Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery in various truck configurations such as flatbeds or tankers.
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and the operation of specialized equipment like forklifts or dump trucks is preferred.
• Experience with load & unload procedures and handling different types of freight safely.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving, including DOT compliance standards.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,800.00 per week
