Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
• Manage route driving responsibilities with precision to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license; familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is essential.
• Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload processes for various cargo types.
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS or mapping tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Skilled in operating forklifts or other loading equipment when necessary for cargo handling.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
