Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo efficiently using mechanical knowledge and appropriate lifting techniques
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Manage manual transmission vehicles with precision and confidence during delivery routes
• Load and secure materials on flatbeds or other trucks, ensuring proper balance and safety during transit
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving and delivering loads
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary to facilitate loading or unloading processes

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license
• Strong driving skills with experience operating manual transmission trucks
• Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Knowledge of heavy lifting procedures for safe handling of materials
• Familiarity with load securing practices for different truck types to prevent shifting during transit
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating deliveries and ensuring customer satisfaction
