Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and goods efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, coupled with mechanical knowledge and experience handling different types of trucks, will ensure timely deliveries and uphold our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Duties

• Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbed trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to operate specialized equipment properly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the types of trucks operated.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with delivery routes involving heavy lifting and cargo handling.
• Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbed trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to manually load/unload cargo safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred; ability to operate heavy-duty equipment required.
