Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
• Drive assigned routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
• Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes for timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and load documentation.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating agricultural and construction equipment.
• Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery and route driving.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment when required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling.
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy.
