Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including flatbed, and Van trucks, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive various types of trucks including flatbed.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Ensure that all cargo is secured properly before departure.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience in truck driving with knowledge of manual transmission preferred.
• Ability to perform route driving efficiently while managing time effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
