Commercial Driver's License Driver - Class B

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver with a Class B license to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial vehicles, including motor coaches, school buses, shuttle vehicles, and paratransit vans. Your primary focus will be delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring timely and secure transportation of passengers or goods. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles such as motor coaches, school buses, shuttle vans, paratransit vehicles, and limousine-style transport services.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical integrity.
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, providing information, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every trip to maintain a safe environment for passengers and cargo.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, inspections, and any incidents in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any operational concerns.

Skills

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger or cargo transport.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Experience driving motor coaches, school buses, shuttle vehicles, or limousine services is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in diverse environments such as paratransit or delivery settings.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to bus driving, delivery operations, and vehicle maintenance.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
