Commercial Driver's License Driver - Class B-Emphasis on Roll-Off Trucks

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while adhering to all transportation regulations.

Duties

• Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Follow established routes while being adaptable to changes as needed for efficiency.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving and waste management.

Skills

• Proficient in operating various types of trucks including roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong background in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving standards.
• Familiarity with freight handling, including load & unload procedures.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is an advantage.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely when required for loading or unloading tasks.
