Responsibilities

• Operate a range of heavy-duty trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds with precision and safety.
• Drive commercial vehicles across designated routes to deliver and collect waste or recyclable materials efficiently.
• Load and unload materials manually or using specialized equipment such as front loader trucks and roll-off containers.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical integrity.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road.
• Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs when necessary to minimize downtime.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), including manual transmission operation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, front loaders, rear loaders, and roll-off trucks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during load & unload activities.
• Skilled in operating specialized equipment like front loader trucks and roll-off containers.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, load securement, and adherence to transportation regulations.
• Experience with delivery driver responsibilities including load & unload procedures.
