Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead electrical installation and maintenance projects within commercial construction environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee multiple teams, ensure project efficiency, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful electrical solutions that meet project specifications and deadlines. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on commercial construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols
- Lead, mentor, and manage electrical crews to maintain high performance, productivity, and quality standards
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of electrical systems
- Conduct quality control inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training and site inspections
- Manage procurement of materials using HeavyBid or similar estimating tools, monitor budgets, and track project progress through construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam
- Oversee subcontractor performance, review contracts, and ensure scope of work is completed on time and within budget
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction site management with a focus on electrical systems in commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for electrical installations
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools
- Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating techniques
- Proven supervisory experience leading electrical teams on large-scale projects
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety
- Ability to interpret technical specifications including schematics and Ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
