What you’ll do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with high voltage and low voltage systems using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute electrical installations accurately.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, providing electrical expertise to enhance project outcomes.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Engage in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician or industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects.
• Strong maintenance person skills that complement your electrical expertise.
