Commercial Execution Analyst
Position Summary
The Vantage Personal Care (VPC) Commercial Execution Analyst plays a critical role in driving the success of our global commercial strategy. This position is the engine behind our commercial performance reporting and execution support, helping to turn data into actionable insights for leadership and VPC’s global commercial team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical self-starter with a strong understanding of VPC’s systems and business processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Global Commercial KPI Reporting & Analytics
Own Commercial KPI Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain robust reports and dashboards that track key commercial performance indicators (KPIs). This includes ensuring accurate data collection, reviewing and cleaning data where needed, and analyzing data from various sources (CRM, AAT workbooks, Sales Analytics PowerBI).
Cadence Reporting: Deliver regular, timely, and accurate performance reports to VPC leadership and stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
Ad Hoc Commercial Analysis: When guided by Business Management Team, conduct data analysis to support sales execution. Examples include performance comparisons against prior year, Sales team performance vs budget, and more.
Commercial Execution Review Preparation
Bi-weekly AAT Preparation: Prepare consistent data packs and presentations for bi-weekly scheduled AAT meetings across all regions. Further opportunity to build automation into preparation for meeting material.
Performance Deep Dives: Collaborate with Business Management Team (Commercial Execution, Product Management, Pricing) to conduct analyses of specific initiatives such as product launches, regional performance, or specific time-bound efforts to measure effectiveness and inform leadership on commercial performance.
Commercial Team CRM Support
Opportunity & Pipeline Tracking: Monitor the sales pipeline, working with AATs and KAMs to ensure new leads and opportunities are accurately tracked and progressing through the funnel as expected.
Data Maintenance: Conduct regular audits and reviews of existing CRM data, implementing necessary updates and ensuring the accuracy of customer and account information.
CRM Champion: Serve as a key resource for sales and commercial teams using the CRM platform, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and proper usage across the commercial organization.
VPC Leadership Support
When guided, provide in-depth data analysis on commercial performance to support material created for leadership reviews, executive updates, and Board of Directors meetings.
Education & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Experience:
Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in a business analyst, sales operations, financial analyst, or commercial reporting role, preferably within a global organization.
Knowledge, Skills, & Talents
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling), and Microsoft Powerpoint
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to translate complex data sets into clear, concise, and actionable business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data and recommendations effectively to Business Management Team.
Pay
The estimated base pay range for this position is: $64,000 - $96,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.
