Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: London (Field-based)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
My clients seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and self-motivated Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team. The Commercial Gas Engineer role involves providing expert planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive breakdown support, diagnostics, repair, and installation services for a wide range of commercial and industrial boiler systems across their client sites in London and the South East. The Commercial Gas Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the clients' heating systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
Full current Commercial Gas Safe accreditations including:
· COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety)
· ICPN1 (Installation of Commercial Pipework)
· CIGA1 (Commercial Indirect Fired Heating Appliances)
· CDGA1 (Commercial Direct Fired Heating Appliances)
· TPCP1A or TPCP1 (Testing & Purging of Pipework)
· CORT1 (Commercial Overhead Radiant Tubes & Appliances) – desirable but not essential
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heating & Ventilation, Gas Engineering, or a related field.
· Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer working on commercial/industrial boiler systems.
· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across a range of boiler manufacturers and types.
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to boiler operations.
· Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Desirable:
· Oil Fired Appliance qualifications (OFTEC).
· Unvented Hot Water qualification (G3).
· Basic electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
· Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) for boiler control.
· Relevant manufacturer training certifications.
