Commercial Gas Engineer/Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems and plumbing infrastructure across various commercial sites and facilities. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of gas appliances, piping, and related mechanical systems. Duties

• Install, service, and repair commercial gas appliances, boilers, and piping systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing and mechanical work
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete installation and repair tasks
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems on construction sites or existing facilities to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repairs
• Assist with remodeling projects by assembling fixtures, fitting pipes, and modifying existing plumbing infrastructure as needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in confined spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, HVAC systems, or related mechanical trades within commercial environments
• Strong knowledge of construction site procedures, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other construction machinery
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing or system specifications
• Valid driving license.
• Handyman experience or background in remodeling projects is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in troubleshooting complex plumbing or gas system issues
