We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team and help support our continued expansion.
About The Role
The successful candidate will carry out a mixture of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, servicing, and installation works across a range of commercial and public sector buildings.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works on commercial heating and plumbing systems
- Completing PPM tasks within required timeframes and ensuring all associated paperwork and service documentation is accurately completed
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across a variety of mechanical systems and plant
- Undertaking ad-hoc and quoted works from initial assessment through to completion
- Carrying out mechanical installation works including pipework, pumps, valves, plant room equipment, and domestic water/drainage services
- Managing materials and equipment required for works and ensuring efficient use of company resources
- Maintaining excellent communication with clients, site representatives and management
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company health & safety procedures and industry standards
- Representing the company professionally while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
What Are We Looking For?
- Experience working within facilities management and building services maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or equivalent qualification
- Experience completing PPM and reactive maintenance works
- Commercial Gas qualifications desirable
Desirable But Not Essential
- ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications
- Experience working within healthcare or educational environments
- CSCS Card or equivalent
- First Aid qualification
