Commercial HVAC Installer / Pipefitter

Eastern Industrial Services of NY Inc. is seeking experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC Installers / Pipefitters to join our growing team. Position Summary

The Commercial HVAC Installer / Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, assembly, fabrication, and startup support of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, piping systems, and related mechanical equipment. Candidates should have strong field experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, AHUs, chillers, boilers, VRF systems, pumps, and associated equipment
• Fabricate and install hydronic, steam, chilled water, condenser water, refrigerant, and gas piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate work with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and other trades
• Perform equipment rigging, layout, setting, and alignment
• Install hangers, supports, insulation, valves, and related mechanical components
• Conduct pressure testing, system flushing, and startup assistance
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards, company procedures, and project specifications
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Accurately complete daily reports and communicate project updates

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation and/or pipefitting experience preferred
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, or government projects is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, piping layouts, and installation best practices
• Experience with welding, brazing, grooving, threading, and soldering preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
