Paradigm Mechanical Corp. is a growing mechanical construction company based in San Diego, known for tackling the complex, high-stakes projects others can't or won't. We're looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager who's ready to lead meaningful work — from federal facilities to large-scale commercial builds — and grow with a team that's serious about quality and culture.

What You'll Own

• Full lifecycle management of multiple commercial HVAC projects — kickoff through closeout
• Coordination across clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal crews
• Budget, schedule, materials, and manpower oversight
• Site visits, code compliance, and safety enforcement
• Project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and closeout packages
• Client relationships — keeping communication clear and trust strong
• Multi-trade coordination on JOC projects — you don't have to be an electrician, but you do have to manage one

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of HVAC project management experience in commercial construction
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time and on budget
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP coordination, and construction processes
• Leadership presence — you communicate clearly, solve problems fast, and keep teams aligned
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, or comparable PM software

You'll Stand Out If You Have

• Government or federal contracting experience (DoD, Navy, GSA a strong plus)
• Comfort managing multi-trade scopes — our JOC work spans generators, roofing, painting, building finishes, electrical, and plumbing. We subcontract the specialty work, but you'll need to coordinate, communicate, and hold those trades accountable
• A bias for action — you don't wait for problems to find you
• The mindset that client satisfaction and team accountability go hand in hand
