Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance and service repairs on complex systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units (RTUs), and cooling towers.
- Diagnostics: Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools like multimeters, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
- System startup: Read and interpret blueprints or wiring diagrams for startup of new HVAC units, and control systems.
- Customer Service: Explain technical issues and repair options to clients in non-technical terms and provide cost estimates for services.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all local building codes and safety regulations, including the proper handling and recovery of refrigerants according to EPA standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, and digital control systems (DDC).
- Certifications: EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant field experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders to access rooftops.
- Professionalism: Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record and possess strong communication skills for client interaction.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
