Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Experience with Rooftop Air Units, Air Handlers, packaged units, split systems, ventilation systems, and HVAC controls is preferred. Both private and prevailing wage.

This role requires a dependable, hands-on technician who can work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including Rooftop Air Units, Air Handlers, packaged units, split systems, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and system diagnostics.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, airflow, and control-related issues.
• Service and replace HVAC components such as motors, belts, bearings, filters, coils, compressors, fans, dampers, sensors, and thermostats.
• Perform basic piping and sheet metal work as needed.
• Document service calls, repairs, materials used, and recommendations for follow-up work.
• Drive company vehicles to commercial job sites and follow all company and safety policies.

Qualifications

• HVAC Licensed (ex. Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, Pipefitter)
• 5+ years experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician or HVAC Service Technician.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• EPA Certification preferred.
