COMMERCIAL HVAC/R SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As a Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician, you’ll service and repair light commercial HVAC and refrigeration within a 60-mile radius of Chesapeake. You will:

• Diagnose, Repair, and Service Commercial HVAC-R: you will troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and equipment to keep restaurants operational, responding quickly to minimize downtime and protect food safety.
• Meet On-Site with Managers/Customers: you will serve as the on-site professional with restaurant managers—assessing issues, explaining solutions, securing repair approval, and setting clear expectations around timelines and costs.
• Do Quality Work and Earn Repeat Business: you will maintain a performance standard and monitor a call-back ratio, aiming to have satisfied customers and win repeat business.

The Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ yrs of Commercial HVAC-R Service Experience
• EPA Type III or EPA Universal Certification
• Clean Driving Record
• Willing to be on an on-call rotation

The Schedule and Work Environment

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-Call Schedule: Rotating weeks
• Service a 60-mile radius around Chesapeake
