Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician (Experienced)

SSI Services is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician  to support service operations across the Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville markets. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple client locations.

This position is ideal for a technician who values autonomy, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is looking to grow within a structured, professional service organization.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair  commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure system performance and longevity
• Service equipment including RTUs, split systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, and related components
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch, and internal teams
• Represent SSI Services professionally in all field interactions

• Minimum  2+ years of HVAC/R field experience  (commercial preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• EPA Certification (required or strongly preferred)
• Basic plumbing knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service routes efficiently
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
