Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration systems, using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations on refrigeration systems, and related mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct field service visits to client sites for appliance repair, property maintenance, air conditioning systems, and equipment upgrades.
• Utilize welding tools and techniques for repairs involving metal components; operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed for parts or equipment movement.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports to document repairs performed and parts used; communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations.
• Adhere to safety protocols related to refrigerant handling, electrical systems, welding operations, and general maintenance procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in refrigeration systems.
• Proven field service experience working on commercial or industrial equipment; capable of troubleshooting complex systems efficiently.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and HVAC plans accurately; familiar with technical manuals.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; proficient in welding techniques for metal repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintenance and repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment safely.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
