Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to understand their insurance needs and provide expert guidance
  • Negotiate policy terms, coverage options, and pricing to secure optimal solutions for clients while meeting company objectives
  • Manage sales administration tasks including policy documentation, renewals, and benefits administration to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling insurance products
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products through telemarketing campaigns, digital channels, or community events
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA when handling sensitive client information
  • Utilize analysis skills to assess risk factors and tailor insurance packages accordingly

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the insurance industry or related fields
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
  • Experience with sales administration systems and CRM tools to track client interactions and sales pipelines
  • Ability to analyze data accurately to inform sales strategies and client recommendations
