Responsibilities
- Engage in outside sales activities by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, networking, and community events to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend appropriate commercial insurance products that align with their unique risks and business operations.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet their coverage requirements while maintaining company standards.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions within our CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies that increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, explaining policy options clearly, and assisting with claims or policy adjustments as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes (including HIPAA compliance where applicable), and competitor offerings to continuously enhance your sales approach.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to effectively articulate product benefits and address client concerns.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively.
- Familiarity with sales administration tools, CRM systems, and marketing strategies to support outreach efforts.
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and foster long-term relationships.
