Cunningham, Inc. is looking for experienced Journeyman plumbers to perform work on large commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plumber assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and instructions from the job leader.
• Maintains pipe systems and pipe supports for the job.
• Must be familiar with soldering, brazing, grooving, threading of all types of piping.
• Studies building place and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations of plumbing systems.
• Occasionally required to help train new or transferred team members
• Can perform work from a scissor/boom lift, ladders or scaffold.
• Plumber performs work compliant with all plumbing codes while working in a safe manner that is compliant with OSHA guidelines.
• Installs, repairs, or replaces plumbing fixtures of all types as required for the jobsite.
• May be required to perform duties up and beyond their normal plumber job duties as required per the specifications of the jobsite.

Qualifications:

• Safety oriented
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate professionalism at all times
• Ability to follow directions and work well with others in high stress environments.
• Ability to work with other trades on job sites and adapt quickly to changes
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record

Education/Experience:

• Licensed in the State of Iowa as a Journeyman Plumber
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial plumbing and heating trade
