Commercial Landscape Estimator

Lucas Lawn & Landscape is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Landscape Estimator to support our preconstruction and operations teams. This position is designed for an individual who demonstrates strong technical aptitude, the ability to interpret construction documents, and a disciplined approach to time management.

The Landscape Estimator will play a critical role in evaluating project opportunities, developing accurate cost projections, and contributing to the successful delivery of commercial landscape installations. This role offers a structured path for professional growth within a rapidly expanding organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and assemble comprehensive cost estimates
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, budgets, and bid submissions
• Utilize estimating and project management software to track opportunities and maintain data accuracy
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment between estimating, sales, and operations
• Manage multiple estimates concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and internal systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or nearing completion) in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general comfort with technology based tools
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Clear and professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to estimating or takeoff software
• Familiarity with commercial construction processes

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
