Commercial Landscape Maintenance Manager

SOI Group is looking for an experienced Commercial Landscape Maintenance Manager. This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position; duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the specific needs of the client.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The position is responsible for cultivating long-term customer relationships, expanding the maintenance services portfolio, and managing both properties and maintenance crews to attain the highest quality product. The Commercial Landscape Maintenance Manager will be the primary contact with the client with administrative and contractual assistance from various support personnel. Primary responsibilities include:

• Actively manage the day-to-day operations of community portfolio by developing and maintaining relationships with clients through superior customer service
• Physically inspect communities regularly to ensure maintenance programs / scope of services are being successfully completed and provide HOA/community manager with recommendations and observations to improve the property
• Communicate and respond to internal and external customers in a recurrent, timely manner
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives
• Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of landscape maintenance and irrigation practices
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Lead and successfully manage crews, field superintendents, and technicians
• Prepare, review and/or edit property reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information as it relates to turf grasses, tree and plant material, and irrigation
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking best practices
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in managing commercial landscape maintenance
• Verifiable experience in commercial landscape maintenance
• Knowledge of North Texas’ typical trees, turf grasses, and plant material
• Proficient in landscape maintenance, lawn care, tree care, and groundskeeping practices
• Adept at accessing and reading irrigation controllers with occasional programming responsibilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALARY: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience
