Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager

The Role
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager II, you’ll take ownership of a book of business, delivering consistent, proactive support to clients. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who is ready to apply their expertise in policy servicing, client retention, and risk assessment. You will work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless account management and proactive policy solutions. What You’ll Do

  • Manage accounts independently, staying ahead of client needs
  • Review policies for coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, claims, audits, and billing questions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and contribute to account growth
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date documentation in agency systems

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of commercial insurance account management experience
  • Solid understanding of insurance products and coverage
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple accounts

Preferred

  • Business or related degree
  • Experience working on complex or high-value accounts
  • Mentoring or training experience
  • Familiarity with agency management systems and underwriting processes

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
