Cozen O’Connor’s Los Angeles office seeks two mid-level commercial litigation associates to join it rapidly growing construction litigation practice. This is not insurance related work rather work defending and representing companies in the construction section with large multimillion dollar contract claims on significant projects as well False Claims Act issues, bidding disputes and enforcement of statutory remedies. Although not required, the ideal candidate will have complex commercial litigation experience in the construction industry and some relevant practical experience in the construction sector. Ideal experience will include representing project owners and developers, contractors, and design professionals in all stages of litigation, including motions practice, discovery, and preparation for hearings in state and federal court and for international arbitration. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. This position is for the Los Angeles downtown office but has an option to work some time in Glendale depending on preference of location.

The salary range for this role is $230,000 to $270,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
