Experienced Litigation Attorney

Our preeminent commercial construction litigation practice seeks an experienced attorney to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of commercial litigation experience, with construction law experience strongly preferred.

This position offers the opportunity to manage complex matters from inception through resolution, including creating a litigation strategy, research, drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and appearing in Federal and Supreme Courts throughout the five boroughs and Westchester. Trial experience is a plus.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients in various practice areas.
• Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings as required.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and projects.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to case strategy discussions.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the NY bar
• Experience in litigation, commercial practice and /or construction law
• Strong research and writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing individual caseloads effectively.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
