This position is responsible for performing duties related to consumer non-real estate and business loan applications; processing commercial real estate and business/consumer non-real estate loan closings; loan servicing; credit line advances; establishing, monitoring, and updating loan document files; working daily/weekly/monthly reports; and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
Knowledge & Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two years banking experience specifically in lending area is preferred.

Personal computer skills in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Internet/E-mail; Preferred experience with Abrigo/Sageworks, Precision and MortgageBot

Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge or appropriate customer service

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff, management, and customers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Branch Manager and other Loan Officers as directed by the Commercial Real Estate Closing Manager or Chief Loan Administration Officer in all loan closing, funding, customer service, or other duties as requested. These duties could include but are not limited to the following:

Work closely with the Branch Manager and provide regular updates on pipeline status and other items as directed by Branch Manager.

Assist assigned Loan Officers with gathering all documents needed for commercial loan approvals and closings.

Assist assigned Loan Officers with gathering and uploading initial documents needed to prepare for mortgage loan approvals to MortgageBot.

Coordinate with loan processing team in collecting documentation required for consumer loan closings.

Order, review, and analyze collateral and entity related documents and highlight all exceptions to be cleared prior to closing.

Obtain and review third party inspections, environmental reports, title reports, surveys, flood certificates, insurance, building documents, sale contracts and other items required for underwriting and closing new commercial loans.

Order and assist in coordination and review of attorney prepared documents for adherence to loan policy and the terms and conditions outlined in the loan approval.

Submit appraisal order requests and all necessary supporting documents to the Appraisal Department.

Maintain Abrigo workflows and prepare for prefunding review of loan documents and loan file to ensure documents are ready for execution and that all exception items have been resolved or appropriately waived.

Coordinate and request wires/checks for closings.

Submit a complete loan package to the Loan Administration team for booking.

Review residential and commercial loan draw requests, collect all necessary lien waivers, draw documents, invoices, and other supporting documents, and confirm advance amounts are funded correctly.

Review weekly past due and exception reports and collect required financial reports, insurance, property tax receipts, etc.

Provide customer service to clients and respond to all customer inquiries regarding loan status, payments, etc.

Assist Loan Officers with loan extensions and modifications.

Review loan documents to ensure completeness and accuracy in accordance with Bank policies, procedures, and compliance related issues (to be learned over time).

Place documents in loan files, maintain filing in loan files as needed.

Ensure that customer service telephone calls are managed promptly.

Promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and by referring customers to new services.

Help cross-selling and referrals to other departments of the Bank.

Complete all assigned Bank compliance training.
