Commercial Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an Entry Level Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our Office Building Maintenance Team. You will inspect different equipment and perform basic repairs or preventative maintenance as required. To do well in this role, you should be skilled with various hand and power tools and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment

Perform basic preventative maintenance on building equipment as needed

Oversee contractors when contracted repairs are necessary

Diagnose/troubleshoot building equipment mechanical issues

Blow leaves and debris from building entrances daily

Have basic knowledge of Commercial Building Systems such as HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing

Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Drivers license

Reliable transportation

Knowledge of hand and power tool use and operation

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Professional presentation and attitude

Ability to work alone or as part of a team

Strong time management skills

Strong work ethic

Basic electrical knowledge

Basic HVAC knowledge

Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook

Able to lift and carry 75 lbs.
