Commercial Manager – Major Building Project (Jeddah)

We are working with a highly respected main contractor delivering landmark construction projects across the region. Our client is now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Jeddah , supporting a large-scale commercial building development .

Role Overview

The Commercial Manager will oversee all commercial, contractual, and cost-management aspects of the project. You will work closely with project leadership, clients, and subcontractors to ensure successful financial performance and risk management throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial and contractual management of a major commercial building project
• Manage cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Administer contracts, variations, claims, and procurement activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations
• Provide strategic commercial guidance to project teams
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve commercial issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field
• Proven experience in a senior commercial role within a main contracting environment
• Strong background in large commercial or mixed-use building projects
• Excellent knowledge of contract forms (e.g., FIDIC)
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly desirable
