Job Title: Commercial Manager – Interior Fit-Out Projects

We are looking "Commercial Manager" will oversee the financial, contractual, and commercial aspects of interior fit-out projects, ensuring profitability, compliance, and timely delivery. This role requires strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and close collaboration with project, design, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Management:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and project requirements.
  • Monitor contract variations, claims, and disputes to minimize commercial risk.

2. Cost Control & Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
  • Monitor project expenditures and profitability, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design intent.

3. Procurement & Vendor Management:

  • Oversee the procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value for money.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

4. Project Coordination & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular financial and commercial reports to senior management.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.

5. Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Advise management on risk exposure, claims, and dispute resolution strategies.

6. Business Development Support:

  • Assist in preparing bids, proposals, and tender submissions for new projects.
  • Provide commercial input for pricing strategies and project feasibility assessments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial management, preferably in fit-out, construction, or interior projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and project finance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and cost management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED7,000.00 per month
