Job Summary


The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for driving the company’s overall commercial strategy, including revenue growth, client acquisition, partnerships, pricing, and market expansion. This role owns the full commercial lifecycle, from go-to-market strategy and sales execution to client retention and revenue optimization, while aligning closely with leadership to scale sustainable growth.

This role is pivotal in shaping the commercial strategy and ensuring the company meets its revenue and growth objectives.


Responsibilities


  • Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute the company’s overall commercial and revenue growth strategy
  • Define target markets, service offerings, pricing models, and go-to-market plans
  • Identify new revenue streams, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and strategic partnerships


  • Sales & Business Development Leadership
  • Own the end-to-end sales function, including pipeline generation, forecasting, and deal closure
  • Build, lead, and mentor sales and business development teams
  • Establish sales targets, incentive structures, and performance benchmarks


  • Client Acquisition & Retention
  • Oversee acquisition of new clients while strengthening long-term client relationships
  • Collaborate with operations and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Act as a senior escalation point for key accounts and strategic clients


  • Market Expansion & Partnerships
  • Identify and evaluate new markets, geographies, and strategic alliances
  • Build partnerships with vendors, consultants, and channel partners to accelerate growth
  • Represent the company in high-level negotiations, industry forums, and client meetings


  • Performance & Reporting
  • Track commercial KPIs such as revenue growth, pipeline value, conversion rates, and churn
  • Provide regular, data-driven commercial reports to executive leadership
  • Use insights to refine strategy and improve execution
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to align commercial goals
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to delivery and ongoing account management

Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in senior commercial, sales, or business leadership roles
  • Strong experience with B2B services, outsourcing, or healthcare/technology sectors preferred
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, strategic thinking, and communication skills
