Role-specific requirements:

Proven experience in commercial and contract management for large-scale construction projects, including claims, variations, and cost control

Strong understanding of contract administration, change management, and payment certification processes

Proficiency in using PRISM for contract management, claims tracking, change control, and payment workflows

Familiarity with cost reporting tools and methodologies, including earned value analysis, forecasting, and contingency management

Ability to analyze and manage risk-based changes and their financial implications

Skilled in assessing the commercial impact of design and schedule changes

Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), and project estimating practices

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide junior staff and influence project outcomes

Implements the standardized work breakdown structure (WBS) and cost breakdown structure (CBS)

Implements claims management process to handle potential consultants and contractors claims and disputes

Perform cost reporting, earned value analysis, cashflow analysis, forest analysis, forecast at completion, and trend analysis

Fully understand the contingency management and management reserves. And able to perform contingency draw-down analysis

Manages, processes, and certifies payment applications submitted by consultants and contractors through the QIC's enterprise systems (e.g. Prism, SAP)

Manages and processes all changes in the project in accordance with contractual requirements and applicable procedures. Analysis of change includes desirability of the change and quantifying the effect of a change on Project outcomes

Manages contract administration processes through recommendations, updates, and changes according to contractual terms and conditions
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Legal or related field
-
Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors beneficial but not essential
-
15 years' Commercial construction delivery experience - ideally Contractor and Consultancy
-
Previous KSA/Middle East experience preferred
-
Experience in the leading Commercial Management of Major Projects in a highly regulated environment including Full project life-cycle involvement (Bidding thorough to Final Account)

Subject matter expert across a range of standard and bespoke forms of Contracts

Foster a culture of flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing business requirements

Expertly manages and prioritizes the workload of the team, deadline driven

Leverage exceptional written and verbal skills in English to effectively articulate ideas, strategies, and project performance to a range of audiences
