Commercial Manager - MEP at DBB Contracting LLC

Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Manager with expertise in MEP contracting to oversee all commercial aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, preparing bids and contracts, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost effective project delivery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability
  • Prepare and review project budgets and costs to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to forecast project financials and identify cost saving opportunities
  • Monitor and control project expenses to align with budget constraints
  • Manage all commercial aspects of project variations and change orders
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in MEP contracting
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial strategies, budgeting, and costing techniques
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex contract terms and conditions
  • Proficient in project management tools and software
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong leadership and decision making skills
  • Relevant certifications or professional affiliations in commercial management or MEP contracting
Skills

Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

  • Proven experience in commercial management within the construction industry
