Commercial Partnerships Manager (Industrial) 50% Travel

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and sales efforts for drive technology solutions, with a focus on gears and winches across North and South America. This role requires a strong combination of technical sales expertise and commercial acumen, with the ability to engage both engineering and procurement stakeholders.

This is a field-based, customer-facing role suited for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives in industrial environments and complex sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales of drive technology products across assigned territories
  • Lead technical and commercial sales discussions with procurement, engineering, operations, and maintenance teams
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with inside sales teams on quotes, order processing, and follow-ups
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and performance analyses
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to align on positioning and messaging
  • Negotiate contracts and close complex deals
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, including post-sale follow-up
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of outside B2B sales experience in industrial, mechanical, or engineered products
  • Proven ability to conduct both technical and commercial sales discussions
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and sell complex mechanical systems
  • Experience selling into industrial sectors such as:
  • Manufacturing
  • Heavy industry
  • Material handling
  • Marine
  • Mining
  • Energy or similar
  • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships and closing deals
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with drive technology, including gears, winches, or similar systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tools (Sage is a plus)

Additional Information

Pay: $68,887.67 - $82,961.50 per year
