Commercial Plumbing Foreman
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive commercial plumbing knowledge, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. The Plumbing Foreman will coordinate daily job site activities, oversee installations, maintain schedules, and ensure compliance with all local codes and company safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead plumbing crews on commercial construction and renovation projects
- Coordinate daily work assignments and monitor crew productivity
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings
- Plan and organize material, equipment, and labor requirements for each phase of work
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, gas, and specialty piping systems
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
- Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce company safety policies
- Track project progress and report status updates to management
- Train, mentor, and develop apprentice and junior plumbers
- Identify and resolve job site issues to minimize delays and maintain workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, material usage, and timekeeping
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience required
- 2+ years in a foreman or supervisory role preferred
- Journeyman or Master Plumbing license (preferred, if required by state/local regulations)
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, layouts, and installations
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA certification preferred
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel out of town for project assignments
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs
- Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather/job site conditions
- Ability to work in tight spaces and elevated areas as needed

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
