Position Summary – Commercial Plumbing Foreman

As a Commercial Plumbing Foreman, you will oversee plumbing installation crews on active commercial construction projects. You will coordinate daily jobsite operations, supervise field personnel, ensure code compliance, maintain safety standards, and help keep projects on schedule and within scope.

This role is ideal for a motivated plumbing leader with strong field experience in commercial plumbing systems, construction management, and crew leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead commercial plumbing installation crews
• Coordinate plumbing installations according to:
  • Blueprints
  • Engineered plans
  • Construction specifications
• Plan daily jobsite activities and assign tasks to crew members
• Communicate with:
  • Project managers
  • General contractors
  • Engineers
  • Inspectors
• Ensure plumbing systems meet:
  • Local plumbing codes
  • Safety regulations
  • Company quality standards
• Coordinate with other construction trades to maintain project timelines
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers
• Manage materials, tools, and jobsite resources efficiently
• Troubleshoot and resolve jobsite issues to keep projects moving forward
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction environment

Qualifications – Commercial Plumbing Foreman

Required Qualifications

• Several years of commercial plumbing experience
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Ability to read and interpret:
  • Blueprints
  • Construction drawings
  • Technical specifications
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Commercial plumbing systems
  • Plumbing installation methods
  • Plumbing codes and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumbing License
• Previous foreman or plumbing supervisory experience
• Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase commercial construction projects
• Experience coordinating with multiple trades on active jobsites

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work in:
  • Construction environments
  • Trenches
  • Mechanical rooms
  • Elevated work areas
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical jobsite duties daily

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Occasional overtime required based on construction schedules and project deadlines
