COMMERCIAL PLUMBING SERVICE MANAGER

Commercial subcontractor seeking a highly dependable, full-time manager for our commercial plumbing service department. The perfect candidate should have a strong sales background to develop new accounts and promote the department's growth by adding new service technicians. Additionally, we are looking for a management background to run the team internally. We are looking for both a self-starter who can be proactive in problem resolution and also a team player who provides strong leadership when assisting in multiple aspects of internal administration. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining customer accounts, developing new accounts, proposal preparation, overseeing the service scheduling and billing, permitting and inspection scheduling and service route management. Must have specific relevant experience and knowledge, have the ability to work both independently as well as support our service team and immediately be able to recognize challenges and take control. Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, including restaurants, hotels, and industrial buildings, as well as Florida plumbing code is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and maintain customer relationships
• Review and approve service invoices
• Prepare proposals and change orders
• Purchase Order distribution and reconciliation
• Work cooperatively with the office team, field manager, and field crew
• Permitting and inspection scheduling
• Service Department scheduling management
• Service Department billing review through QuickBooks Online
• Work with the new construction department to schedule warranty and punch work
• Initiative to get things done and problem-solving skills are a must

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5+ years CONSTRUCTION management experience
• Strong service department sales background
• Proficient in Service Titan, Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks Online
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
• Self-starter with excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities; Deadline-driven
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills; Problem recognition and resolution
• Team player
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written
• Highly dependable!
• Strong knowledge of Florida Plumbing Code
• Extensive understanding of commercial service plumbing systems, including restaurants, hotels, industrial facilities and retail spaces.
