Join Lumenco (en.lumenco.ca), a Canadian lighting and electrical distribution company serving professional, commercial, and project-based markets across North America. We work closely with contractors, engineers, designers, and public-sector clients across a catalog of 70,000+ SKUs.
We are hiring a Commercial Pricing Analyst — a data-driven role focused entirely on pricing intelligence, margin analysis, and competitive benchmarking. If you think in margins, live in spreadsheets, and know how to turn pricing data into commercial decisions, this role is built for you.
This is not a category management, procurement, content, or sales role. Strong analytical skills and demonstrated pricing or BI experience are non-negotiable.
You will work directly with Canadian leadership, with full ownership of pricing decisions across assigned product lines and direct exposure to North American distribution and merchandising standards.
Key responsibilities
- Own pricing and mark-up decisions across assigned product lines, using margin and sales data as your primary input
- Build and maintain competitive pricing benchmarks — tracking competitor prices, market positioning, and price gaps across key categories
- Analyze SKU, brand, and category performance to identify margin improvement and revenue growth opportunities
- Lead price updates, clearance strategies, and seasonal promotions
- Maintain supplier cost data, pricing grids, and inventory updates
- Build structured pricing reports and commercial dashboards for Canadian leadership — weekly and monthly cadence
- Implement upsell and cross-sell strategies based on performance insights
- Improve product positioning and category structure to support revenue growth
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in pricing analysis, commercial finance, business intelligence, or e-commerce product operations — with direct ownership of pricing or margin decisions
- Demonstrated ability to build pricing models, competitive benchmarks, or margin analysis reports — you will be asked to show examples at interview
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, margin formulas, and data modelling are daily tools in this role
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Comfortable working in a structured morning shift with international collaboration
- Experience in distribution, wholesale, retail buying, or B2B supply chain is strongly preferred
