We are a growing, design led landscaping company specializing in outdoor environments, landscape infrastructure, recreational spaces, and site development works across the UAE.

As a startup stage company, we operate with a lean and performance driven structure. We are looking for a commercially strong all rounder who can manage both quantity surveying and procurement functions within a small contracting environment.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Commercial & Procurement Engineer in landscaping with 2-5 years of UAE experience in a small or mid sized contracting company.

The ideal candidate must be capable of handling quantity take offs, BOQ preparation, cost control, supplier sourcing, subcontractor negotiation, and procurement coordination.

This is a hands on role suited for someone who has previously worked in a multi responsibility environment and understands the UAE construction market thoroughly.

Key Responsibilities Commercial & Quantity Surveying

• Prepare BOQs from drawings
• Conduct quantity take offs
• Verify site measurements
• Track variations and cost changes
• Support project budgeting and margin control
• Assist in cost estimation and project pricing

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

• Develop and maintain strong UAE supplier and subcontractor network
• Obtain quotations and prepare detailed comparative statements
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms
• Identify alternative materials and value engineering opportunities
• Conduct local and international product research when required
• Prequalify subcontractors and suppliers
• Evaluate technical and commercial compliance
• Support package finalization and award recommendations
• Track material deliveries and timelines
• Ensure material compliance with project specifications

Material Category Exposure Required

• Hardscape and paving materials
• Ceiling and shading systems
• Landscape and site infrastructure materials
• Sports and recreational surface systems
• Drainage and irrigation systems
• Custom fabrication and site accessories

Experience Required

• 2-5 years UAE market experience
• Background in small or mid sized contracting company
• Experience handling both QS and procurement responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers and subcontractors
• Experience preparing comparative statements and negotiating rates

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
