Commercial Project Estimator

Hi, we're Skylight Specialists and we're looking for a commercial project estimator. This is an Entry Level position with a rapidly growing company in our commercial department.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Estimator responsibilities and duties:

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and quotes
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Understand scope of work to bid and contractual requirements
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare cost analysis
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 1 year construction estimating experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in: iSqFt, Dodge, Bid Clerk, Bid Scope, Bid Net, or other bid sites is highly desirable but training is available
• Experience with using a CRM
• Critical thinker and problem-solver

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
